If you are coming from Meiningen, go towards Suhl, cross over the Näherstiller Straße and carry on until Blechhammer, then turn right.
If you are coming from Suhl, turn left at the second set of traffic lights in Schmalkalden. You are then directly on the campus of the Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences.
