A large proportion of German students study or do an internship abroad in order to gain insights and experience in foreign educational and working environments over a longer period of time. Depending on your interest in mobility, however, it may also make sense to choose a different mobility format in order to gain structured experience abroad. These offers are usually announced by the exchange coordinators of the individual faculties and by the International Office; some are also organised by professors at Schmalkalden University themselves.
