Entering a higher semester 🎓🔄

Are you already studying and would like to transfer to Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences to continue your studies in the same degree program? Then you can apply to start in a higher semester.

⚠️ Important prerequisite:

A transfer is not possible if you have definitively failed an examination in your current degree program at another university and have therefore been exmatriculated.

📌 How is the semester classification determined?

Once you have enrolled, the person responsible on the examination board will decide on your placement.

If you would like to transfer to Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences from another university, please apply in writing using the relevant application form.

 

📌 Additional documents required for the Student Service Office:

• Current certificate of study
• Transcript of records (transcript of grades)
• Certificate of good standing
• Copy of your university entrance qualification (Abi or similar)
• Copy of your birth certificate or identity card
• 1 passport photo with the thoska application
• Proof of a completed pre-study internship (if required, e.g. for mechanical engineering)
• Copy of the training contract with a company (only for the Schmalkalden integrated vocational training course in electrical engineering & mechanical engineering)

⚠️ Important: Don't forget to sign the application for admission - only complete applications can be processed!
