Students of the Master's and Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering visited the Schmalkalden-based company MWS Schneidwerkzeuge - a company with a long tradition and expertise in the production of knives and blades for the industrial and agricultural sectors.
Managing director Heiner Larbalette, together with personnel officer Antje Boortz, took the opportunity to personally present the company and its products. In a tour he showed the different processes and stations of the production of cutting tools. A look at the production of the Mulchmaster, one of the company's own developments for mowing and mulching grass areas, rounded off the tour.
