Study program and institutions

  • Click “Study details” In the menu on the left side.
  • Near the bottom of the page there is a “My institutions:” section. The electrical engineering faculty (“Fakultät Elektrotechnik”) should be listed there. If it is not listed, use the “-- Please select institude --” choice box, select the faculty and click the “Accept” button.
Students in the “Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen” (WIW) and “Mechanics and robotics” (MERO) study programs should have both the electrical engineering faculty (Fakultät Elektrotechnik) and the mechanical engineering faculty (Fakultät Maschinenbau) assigned as they have to attend to courses from both faculties.
  • On the top of page you should see subject (study program) and degree. If there is no study program and degree shown yet, use the choice boxes to select subject (study program) and degree, then click the “Accept” button.

Messages by e-mail

On time table changes — i.e. time or room change, cancellation of a lecture… — the Stud.IP system generates messages. Normally these messages are only visible when logged into Stud.IP.
It is a good idea to convert these messages to e-mail, so you receive these notifications on your smartphone or computer as soon as possible.

  • In the icon row on top of page click the “Profile” icon.
  • In the menu row click “Settings”.
  • In the menu on the left side click “Messages”.
