Dual-track degree programs as a successful model for securing a skilled workforce

The “Study-Practice+” program enables students to gain extensive practical experience even while completing their undergraduate studies, thanks to a partnership between the company and the university. Students apply what they have learned not only during a practical semester but also on a regular basis during extended periods outside of the academic term, directly within the company.
This training model thus offers the best opportunities to attract qualified young talent and retain them within the company in a targeted and long-term manner.

The Studium-Praxis +  program is available in numerous bachelor’s degree programs in the fields of business and law, media and computer science, and engineering, and fully qualifies students for a master’s degree program at universities.

The integrated vocational training program combines a traditional university degree with vocational training.

Universities, vocational schools, and partner companies work closely together to ensure that trainees have the best career opportunities within the company by earning both an academic degree and an additional vocational qualification.

The BISS program is available in the following degree programs: Mechanical Engineering (B.Eng.), Electrical and Information Technology (B.Sc.), and Medical Technology (B.Sc.), in combination with the following vocational training programs: Industrial/Tool Mechanic (IHK), Mechatronics Technician (HWK), and Microtechnologist (IHK).
