About WORT

The WORT project is driven by a powerful vision: to establish a thriving network of cooperation among regional stakeholders in Southern Thuringia. Our aim is to initiate and strengthen a collaborative environment that can holistically address the shortage of skilled professionals in Southern Thuringia. In addition, the structures of the project are designed to last beyond its initial duration, ensuring long-term sustainability while promoting continuous evolution and independent development.

With WORT, we actively initiate and support intercultural opening processes in companies, institutions and organisations. Our tailored programmes for human resources and organisational development are designed to meet specific needs, empower individuals and promote inclusive working environments. Explore our website to learn more about our comprehensive workshops and training programmes.

An integral component of the project is to establish a dynamic space for encounter in the heart of Schmalkalden. Our goal is to actively involve the local community by providing a space for participation, contribution, and the exchange of ideas. We warmly invite everyone to join us and become part of this transformative endeavor.

The Thuringian Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Women and Family (TMASGFF) has granted the WORT project for the period from 1 October 2022 to 30 September 2025. It is supported by the Free State of Thuringia and the European Social Fund Plus.
