This year’s “Schmalventure” called for team spirit, knowledge, and skill: Students, staff, and professors from the Faculty of Business Law set out together to tackle various tasks and challenges along a varied hiking route.
Games, puzzles, and small skill challenges awaited the teams at several stations. Of course, a legal theme was a must at an event organized by the Business Law Student Council: In a “Law Memory” game, participants were able to put their memory and legal knowledge to the test. At the other stations, success depended primarily on good teamwork, a keen sense of balance, and, at times, creative guesswork. Refreshments were also provided to keep everyone energized along the way.
The motto was clear: The journey is the destination. Speed did not earn any extra points. What mattered most was which team could successfully complete the most tasks and collect the most correct answers.
This year, of all teams, it was the professors’ team that secured the victory. Apparently, years of exam experience pay off not only in the lecture hall but also on the hiking trail. For the students, the next challenge is already clear: next year, they aim to reclaim the title.
After the hike, everyone gathered for a barbecue and wrapped up the event in a relaxed atmosphere. The student club kindly provided refreshments for the Schmalventure by supplying drinks.
The Business Law Student Council would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to all participants, volunteers, and supporters who made the Schmalventure such a resounding success.
