University sports

Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences offers a wide range of facilities for all students and staff who are keen on sports. The campus has a basketball court, beach volleyball court and football pitch, as well as table tennis tables and an outdoor fitness facility. Registration for the courses takes place at the beginning of each semester in StudIP. Participation in university sports is free of charge for students. In some sports, the clubs that run the training sessions charge fees equivalent to the membership fee.
