A three-person delegation from the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies at Satbayev University in Almaty, Kazakhstan, visited Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences this week. The aim was to discuss opportunities for closer cooperation in the areas of research, support for young talent and student exchange. Discussions focused on the Faculty of Computer Science.
The delegation was accompanied by Emeritus Prof. Dr. Dietmar Beyer, who continues to maintain good contacts in the region. At the reception hosted by President Prof. Gundolf Baier, Institute Director Prof. Raissa Uskenbayeva and other members of the delegation discussed their impressions and future opportunities.
