Dealing with Sexualized Discrimination and Violence
The University's Values
Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences sees itself as a family-oriented, social and democratic community in which trust, respect, and mutual appreciation shape how we interact with one another. We explicitly commit to equal opportunities and clearly reject all forms of discrimination.
Sexualized discrimination and violence as well as harassment, insults or threats based on gender, origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability or any other diversity category have no place at our university.
We understand it as our duty to protect all members of the university community and to take consistent action against misconduct. We foster a culture of awareness, solidarity and mutual support, and we explicitly encourage those affected not to tolerate any form of abuse or violence.
