Each semester the International Office at the Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences organizes a Buddy Programme for guest students of the Faculty Partner Universities. At the beginning of each term, the International Office looks for students who are interested in mentoring guest students over the course of the semester.
Benefits from the Buddy Programme:

- Develop your intercultural skills
- Demonstrate social commitment during your studies
- First-hand information about the partner universities as optimal preparation
for your exchange term
- You´ll receive a certificate for your volunteering
Mandatory Responsibilities of a Buddy:
- Provide support in dealing with living and studying in Schmalkalden

How to become a Buddy:

- This email should give us a short information, why you want to become a
buddy
- Please include in your name, emailadress, phone number and faculty you are
studying at
